First Grade Mathematicians: First grade students have been working hard in math to build number sense. We have practiced subitizing with dice, ten frames and dominoes, as well as counting and comparing numbers. The students below are constructing a life-size number line. The number line was used to gain a deeper understanding of number order, greater than, less than, and even and odd. We love math!
