Kindergarten had a busy month! We had several community helpers visit us to share what they do to help our communities each and every day. The kids enjoyed learning about various careers and then wrapped up the month with a Book Character Parade!

We would like to extend a big thank you to our community helpers who show up for our kindergarten students every year. We appreciate you!

First graders at Watauga Elementary School have been learning about different kinds of animals. As a culminating activity, each student picked an animal to learn more about them. They researched to discover what their animal eats, its habitat, and some interesting facts. Their curiosity and hard work showed how much first graders could discover when given the opportunity to explore.
