Greendale Elementary will practice a lockdown drill on September 6. It will help us prepare for the unlikely event that we need to lock down. Pre-K and Kindergarten will not participate in the drill at this time.
This is just a reminder that schools will be closed on Monday in honor of Labor Day.

Come out for a free spaghetti dinner on Thursday, September 7 at 6:00 p.m. at GES! PTO is sponsoring the dinner and will be sharing plans for upcoming events. School staff will be introduced as well. The book fair will be open for Family Night, too!

Referrals for gifted education services are now being accepted August 28 through September 15. If you would like to refer a student for an evaluation, please contact your student's homeroom teacher. All parents of school-aged children and youth with disabilities who receive special education services in Virginia are requested to complete the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) annual Parent Involvement Survey.
