Wildcats on the Loose in Sugar Hollow Park!

Wildcats, Watauga Elementary School Wildcats that is, were spotted recently at Sugar Hollow Park! They were on the prowl to learn more about the local environment, habitats, and conservation. Approximately 88 young cats, thirsty for knowledge, wandered the park gleaning much information about topics such as food webs, plant parts and pollination, features of mammals, carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, and erosion. The excitement was palpable as the pack meandered from station to station soaking up knowledge through fun hands-on experiences. We are sure these young ones will spread the word about Conservation Camp far and wide for many years to come!
