Kindergarten Intervention

Katie Mitchell

The Kindergarten Intervention program is designed to give instruction and support to children who might need a little extra help to achieve objectives in phonics, language arts, reading, and writing. Kindergarten students are assessed periodically to determine which students would most benefit from additional small group instruction through Kindergarten Intervention. Students enrolled in Kindergarten Intervention receive thirty minutes of small group instruction each day. The goal of Kindergarten Intervention is to help students achieve academic progress in the areas of phonics, language arts, reading, and writing.
